A type of fermented and processed locust beans used as a condiment in cooking. It is referred to Iru by Yorubas. Used as a seasoning for all types of traditional soups and stews. It has a pungent odor which yeilds a bold and aromatic flavor to dishes.
Rinse before use.
Store in a freezer.
